Barkly East resident Mbulelo Speelman, who is taking on the gruelling Liberty Medical Scheme Rhodes Trail Run next month, has reason to look pleased.

He was over the moon recently when he was told that his entry to this extreme trail run had been sponsored by Rhodes property owner and organiser of the event Evie Raubenheimer.

This week Mbulelo was thrilled to receive two pairs of specialist top of the range trail shoes from Montrail. The trail shoes, designed to take on the rugged terrain the route covers, were arranged by Evie and donated by Montrail, one of the event partners. Montrail are excited to be sponsoring Mbulelo's shoes for the run and are hoping for a top three finish from our star distance runner.
