A few snippets from Kevin Light's successful entry to the First Ascent competition:

  • I have spent the whole bloody day not working and looking at the route, pictures etc on the site
  • My mother told me not to take part in this event
  • I will have the First Ascent lizard logo tattooed on my bum
  • I have pink Jockeys ... I'm just that cool
  • D is for, Desperate enough to send 52 reasons to an "info@" email address
  • My 18 year old daughter says that she'll stand at the finish line in a bikini and shout, "Clear the bridge"

If you want to find out more of what Kevin did, or rather promises to do, that  secured him that treasured First Ascent Wild Card invitation to the 2010 Liberty Medical Scheme Rhodes Trail Run, pop over to the First Ascent site and have a read, or just point your cursor here.
