Well.....there is snow....lots & lots of it.
Evie was chatting with a lass in the village & it snowed in Rhodes all night and well into the morning (not sure if it is still snowing).
The village is looking rather alpine-ish under about 30-40cm of snow (deeper where drifts have formed) - and I would guess that the kloof section and up along the Lesotho border section are pretty deep.

Carlislehoek is closed; those who ran a few years ago will recall cars going of the road/track (one over the the edge) and runners sliding & falling quite badly as a result of the ice on this section.

Evie & I are going up this weekend & will give another update then.

In the meantime....keep doing whatever anti-global warming dances you have been doing as they are working, and lets hope there is another good dump in two weeks time.
