I see Evie has gone ominously quiet re the weather. Is that good or bad? Anyone know what's expected this weekend. Even SA Weather doesn't seem to know where Rhodes is - they probably also think it's in Grahamstown.

A good sign!! Means that it's very VERY cold.

Expecting more snowfalls on the route today and tomorrow... correction, make that tonight, tomorrow night and Wednesday.

Prediction wind wise for Saturday is similar to last year, being another mild day ....maybe!!

Wish we were there already! Pity no falling snow on Saturday...oh well that means next year we will be there again....you know Pat wants to run when its snowing....Keep warm......and leave some sherry for us.Send love to Evie.X

oh, remember our definition of 'mild' might be slightly different to others....last year the start was in mild cool conditions, not really cold ...

I'm not putting any money on the forecasts until Saturday evening.... we've been in the hamlet when it's snowing while the guru's are saying it's clear, so who knows - tell Pat to bring a brolly just in case
